Lost In Drama is One Year Old Today!

Exactly a year ago today, Lost In Drama went live on the internet, created to focus on period dramas and classic novel adaptations. It's been a labour of love done in the spare hours, and in one year has had 107 posts and 63,379 words (that's roughly a 250-word novel!). Perfectly timed to conclude just before Guy Fawkes' day, BBC's latest historical drama Gunpowder took us behind the scenes of the infamous 1605 plot. A brainchild of Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington, it tells the story of Robert Catesby (a distant ancestor of Harington's) and the reasons behind his decision to attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament.
